On 10th March 2025, the Mozilla Responsible Computing Challenge team at Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology organized a Students’ Training Program (STP) at Mar Thoma College of Science & Technology, Ayur, Kollam, with Dr. Sanil J. (R&D Engineer, DUK) as the keynote speaker. The event saw 139 undergraduate participants and was inaugurated by Dr. K. Jacob (Principal), with Mr. Jibu Elias (Mozilla RCC, India Lead) highlighting the importance of ethical AI and Mozilla's RCC initiatives.
Dr. Sanil J. delivered a session on Responsible AI Awareness, covering ML, deep learning, generative AI, and LLMs, while addressing fairness, bias, and transparency. The session included hands-on AI tool demonstrations and an interactive Q&A on balancing innovation with ethics. The event concluded with valuable insights on ethical AI practices.
