About The Event

We are elated to announce our ideathon on "Ethical AI" organized by Digital University Kerala in association with Mozilla Foundation Computing Challenge. Mozilla aims at the conceptualization, development, and piloting of curricula that empower students to think about the social and political context of computing.  As a response to this an ideathon on ‘Ethical AI’ has been organized that synchronizes with the goals of the Mozilla Responsible Computing Challenge.

In the era of prompt technological advancements in artificial intelligence systems and their pervasive impact is the reason why the thought of ideathon arose. Ideathon on Ethical AI aims to address the ethical setbacks and social implications of artificial intelligence systems. The event is designed for the creative collaboration of participants belonging to diverse backgrounds to stimulate innovative ideas and solutions to design and deploy AI systems that aligns with societal and ethical context. The objective is to cultivate actionable ideas and strategies that promote ethical consideration in AI technologies. Ultimately by aiming for interdisciplinary collaboration a diverse perspective is induced which reduces the potential harm and enhances the ethical consideration in AI technologies.
