Post-Event Note: Webinar on "Towards Responsible AI and Data Science"

The webinar “Towards Responsible AI and Data Science”, organized by Digital University Kerala in collaboration with Mozilla Responsible Computing Challenge India on 19th August 2024 was concluded sucessfully. The event brought together over 110 participants from academia, industry, and the AI community to delve into the critical aspects of responsible AI and data science in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Dr. Shailesh Sivan, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), delivered an insightful session on best practices, emerging standards, and the importance of contextualizing AI systems within their social and political frameworks.
